What is BBTRS®?
Biodynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release System®
is a gentle but powerful path to release what your body never got to let go of.
BBTRS® (Biodynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release System) is a body-oriented approach to healing. It supports the release of stress, trauma, and emotional blockages stored in the body, not by talking about them, but by feeling and breathing through them.
This work is built on the understanding that trauma isn’t just in the mind, it lives in the body. And if the body holds it, the body can also let it go.
BBTRS® uses six integrated elements to create space for that release:
Breath – to activate the body’s energy and uncover where tension is held
Movement – to invite flow and flexibility back into stuck areas
Sound – to express emotion and move energy through the voice
Touch – to bring awareness and support deeper release
Emotional Expression – to safely feel and express what’s ready to surface
Meditation – to ground, integrate, and feel what needs to be felt
Each session is a full-body experience. There’s no rush, no pushing, just an invitation to reconnect with what your body already knows.
The 7 Belts of Tension
In BBTRS®, we work with seven key areas of the body known as the “belts of tension.” These are zones where physical, emotional, and energetic blocks often accumulate and are usually formed as protective responses to stress, trauma, or unexpressed emotions.
Each belt holds its own story. In session, we gently explore one or more of these areas to invite awareness, release, and flow.
Eye Area
Linked to how we see the world and ourselves. Tension here often relates to shame, fear of being seen, or visual overwhelm.Mouth & Jaw Area
Connected to unspoken truth, suppressed anger, and emotional holding. Clenching, tightness, or grinding often show up here.Throat Area
The center of expression and communication. Blocks in this area may relate to swallowing emotions or not feeling safe to speak your truth.Heart & Chest Area
Where love, grief, heartbreak, and vulnerability live. Many of us unconsciously armor the chest to protect from pain, but it also blocks joy.Diaphragm Area
A crucial area for breath and emotional regulation. Tightness here can reflect fear, control, or an instinct to hold back.Abdominal Area
Linked to self-worth, gut instinct, anxiety, and boundaries. This belt is often tied to themes of identity and emotional digestion.Pelvic Area
The foundation. Holds energy related to grounding, safety, sexuality, creativity, and personal power. A common place for deep, unconscious tension.
Why this method?
BBTRS® is different from traditional therapy or coaching. It bypasses the thinking mind and allows the body to lead. It’s not about fixing you, it’s about creating space to feel, release, and reconnect.
This work is for you if:
You often feel tense, anxious, or disconnected from your body
You’ve done some inner work, but still feel stuck in old patterns
You struggle to relax, let go, or access deeper emotions
You’re ready to feel more alive, open, and at home in your own body
Is it safe for everyone?
BBTRS® is a powerful modality, and it’s important to practice it with care. This method is not suitable if you:
Are pregnant,
Are diagnosed with epilepsy, schizophrenia or psychosis,
Are diagnosed with bipolar disorder,
Have severe asthma,
Have severe diabetes,
Have heart conditions, arrhythmia, or vascular disease
Are in a current state of acute physical injuries,

Session Options & Investment
You’re welcome to start with a single session. Sometimes that’s all it takes to feel a shift. But in my experience, deep and lasting change unfolds over time. This work moves in layers. It needs safety, consistency, and space.
That’s why I recommend beginning with a 3-session series. It gives you time to settle in, feel the impact, and begin to understand what this practice is really doing beyond words. You can continue by adding top up sessions as you go.
If you’re ready to go deeper, the full arc often spans 6-10 sessions, allowing us to move through the body’s story at a natural pace.
If finances are a barrier, I offer a few sliding scale spots because I want to make this work accessible for those who truly need it.
